New Zealand golfer Bradley Iles was second after the first round of the Australian PGA Championship at Coolum in Queensland yesterday.
Iles, who has been playing as a professional for a year, scored a seven-under-65 on the par-72 course, racking up 11 pars and seven birdies.
He was
one shot behind James Nitties, of Australia. Australians Nick O'Hern, Jarrod Lyle, Peter O'Malley and Marc Leishman are third on 66.
