Golf: Hendry tops NZ list

North Harbour golfer Michael Hendry is the leading New Zealander on the One-Asia golf tour.

A fifth placing in the SK Telecom Open in Seoul, South Korea, earned him almost US$34,000, taking him to 30th in the latest OneAsia rankings issued yesterday.

One spot behind is Bay of Plenty's Josh Geary on US$31,200.

David Smail, who plays mainly on the Japan Tour, is joint 63rd (US$19,155) and Gareth Paddison is 76th (US$15,664).
