Save Michael Hendry remains in lone second as others attempt to make their move at the Australian Masters in Melbourne.
Hendry's finished his round of three-under par to sit eight-under for the tournament, just two shots off the lead of Australian Matthew Guyatt.
Adam Scott and fellow Aussie Craig Hancock are
a shot back at seven-under.
Tournament drawcard Ian Poulter failed to make any ground with an even-par round to stay at five-under.
He says he's come off the course disappointed with his round, which is a shame.
