Golf: Fox sneaks past Qatar cut

Ryan Fox has squeezed into the reduced field at the European Tour's Qatar Masters.

The Kiwi golfer has made the cut in Doha by one shot with a second round two under par 72 to be two under for the tournament in a share of 57th.

Fox is six shots off the lead.

Tim Wilkinson, Danny Lee and Steven Alker are underway in their second round of the PGA Tour's latest event in San Diego.

Wilkinson is the best placed, in a share of 18th.
