New Zealand golfer Ryan Fox will be fighting to make the cut when play resumes at the Open Championship tonight.
Fox is sitting right on the projected cut line of even par at the St Andrews course, with his first round 72 being followed by six straight pars in hissecond round before play was suspended.
He will have to avoid trouble on the back nine, where he bogied three of his last five holes in his opening round to drop down the leaderboard after previously sitting at three-under through 12 holes.
Windy conditions are expected for the resumption of the second round, which could push the cut line out a few shots.
Fellow Kiwi Danny Lee is likely to miss the cut, with his second round two-over par 74 seeing him slip to three-over for the tournament and into a tie for 110th.
American Dustin Johnson leads the tournament at 10-under, having five holes to play in his second round, while England's Danny Willett sits in the clubhouse at nine-under.
The players still needing to finish their second rounds are expected to get underway at 6.00pm.
Meanwhile, on the PGA Tour, two back-nine birdies has seen Steven Alker make the cut on the number at the Barbasol Championship, while Tim Wilkinson has missed the cut by two strokes.
