Golf: Eruera named in junior national team

Fresh from winning the national amateur title, Auckland's Larissa Eruera, 14, was yesterday named in the national team to contest the Australian junior women's championship in Tasmania next month.

She will join Nelson's Lisa Wright, Zoe Beth Brake of Whakatane and Christchurch's Dana Kim for the event from January 10-12.

Champion amateurs Troy Ropiha ( New Plymouth) and James Gill (Hamilton) will compete at the Lake Macquarie International Amateur from January 25-28, with Auckland's Leighton James and Danny Lee of Rotorua.

Auckland pair Sharon Ahn and Da Som Lee and North Harbour's Yeon Song Kim will contest the Lake Macquarie women's event.
