Golf: Campbell finishes 16th at British Masters

Michael Campbell finished in a share of 16th place at the British Masters this morning.

The New Zealander shot a one-under-par final round to end the tournament six-under overall, well behind winner Barry Lane at 16-under.

The European Tour event was the second in a row where Campbell was near the top of the leaderboard early on -- sitting second after the first round -- but then fell off the pace.

Angel Cabrera and Eduardo Romero were tied for second at 13-under.
