Dustin Johnson is learning the one downside to being engaged to Paulina Gretzky

It's usually the mother-in-law that gets a bad reputation but spare a thought for major winning golfer Dustin Johnson.

Johnson is engaged to Paulina Gretzky, the daughter of ice hockey legend Wayne Gretzky. Wayne Gretzky is regarded as one of the greatest ice hockey players of all time, hence his nickname The Great One, and has some pretty big expectations of Johnson.

The American golfer had the breakthrough victory of his career earlier this year when he finally won his maiden major at the US Open after coming so close on previous attempts.

Wayne Gretzky expects more major wins from the number three. A lot more.

"If I scored 50 goals in a season, I wanted 70 the next year. If I got 70, I wanted 90. Never, ever settle," Gretzky said. "Dustin just won three tournaments and a major. That's a great year. Now go win five tournaments and two majors. I want him to see that only he can put limits on himself," Wayne Gretzky told Golf.com.

Johnson's future father-in-law and the grandfather of his son said he wants him to be more relentlessness - like Tiger Woods.

"I've told Dustin he has to be more like Tiger."

"I don't mean he has to be Tiger - you only get a few athletes like that a century. But part of what made Tiger Tiger was relentlessness."
