Daniel Hillier has continued his hot start to the DP World Tour season and remains in the hunt at the midway stage of the Qatar Masters.
Hillier sits in a share of third place two shots back from leader Patrick Reed following the second round.
Hillier has four top fivefinishes in his opening five events of the season and could leap to third on the season standings with another top five finish.
He carded a second round three-under 69 to move to 10-under for the tournament after holding a share of the lead with Reed after day one. Masters champion Reed leads at 12-under, a shot ahead of Sweden’s Joakim Lagergren.
Kiwi Kazuma Kobori also sits in the top 10 at seven-under following a second round 70 after opening with 67.
On the PGA Tour, Ryan Fox is making his season debut at the WM Phoenix Open where he’ll look to make the cut later today after opening with a two-under 69.
