For some, it happens once in a lifetime. For others, it's only a dream. But for one amateur golfer, it's come three times in five hours.
UK amateur golfer Ali Gibb hit three holes-in-one during a five-hour stint at the Croham Hurst Golf Club in the UK, defending her clubchampionship on Tuesday.
In her two rounds of golf, Gibb hit a hole-in-one twice on the 5th hole, par 3, and once on the 11th hole, par 3, stunning viewers and club members.
"Today was just a weird day. It was just very, very strange," she said. "On my card I had a nine, two eights, sixes, fives, fours, threes, twos and three ones.
"Our pro Adam came up to me and said: 'I've had one hole-in-one in 42 years, you've just had three in five hours.'
"It's just absolutely extraordinary. I think I will wake up tomorrow asking if I've just been dreaming about it and if it is club championship day today instead!"

It's not the first time Gibb has claimed the honour of hitting a hole-in-one.
The 51-year-old revealed she's hit three holes-in-one prior to her extraordinary day out on Tuesday, taking her incredible tally to six.
Club secretary Jean Cooke told the BBC: "Scoring one hole-in-one in a whole lifetime is unusual but three in one day is extremely rare if not unique."
Gibb's feat has since been humorously compared to former North Korean leader Kim Jong-il after he claimed to hit 11 holes-in-one during his first-ever and only round of golf in 1997.
While Gibb's feat has been verified and approved, Jong-il's audacious claims appear to be made up, making Gibb's feat even more incredible.
