Source: Channel 9 Former Prime Minister Bob Hawke is at it again. The former Australian leader has made a tradition of sculling a beer at the Sydney Cricket Ground. He did the deed again today at the famous ground where Australia is facing Pakistan in the third test of the series. It was a repeat of the feat Hawke performed in 2012 when Australia hosted Sri Lanka.

Former Australia Prime Minister Bob Hawke is at it again. The former Australian leader has made a tradition of sculling a beer at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

He did the deed again today at the famous ground where Australia is facing Pakistan in the third test of the series.

It was a repeat of the feat Hawke performed in 2012 when Australia hosted Sri Lanka.

Australian broadcaster Channel Nine has posted footage showing Hawke raising his beer in preparation, and the stadium screen then cuts to show him sculling the glass.

He received a standing ovation from the crowd afterwards.

A long-time and avid cricket fan, Hawke served as Australia's PM from 1983 to 1991. The 87-year-old is also known for once holding the world record for the fastest-drinking of a yard of beer.
