Exciting news for hockey fans with the 2016 Ford National Hockey League finals coming LIVE to SKY Sport this September.
Televised games include the Womens K Cup Final and Mens Challenge Shield Final, along with the respective bronze medal games, which will all be played at the Whangarei ITM Hockey
Centre on Saturday 17th September.
Round 1 and 2 of the Ford NHL take place throughout the country from 27th August - 4th September, before all teams converge in Whangarei for Rounds 3 to 7 and finals.
Last years Challenge Shield was won by the Capital Cobras who defeated Southern in a shoot-out, while the Auckland Women took out the K Cup with a dominant 6-0 result over hosts Northland.
Earlybird tournament passes are still available online through www.hockeynz.co.nz and are cheaper than purchasing at the gate. Daily passes will be available at the gate only.
