Soccer: Beckham at full fitness for Phoenix match

David Beckham is expected to be near peak fitness for the upcoming friendlies with Sydney FC and Wellington Phoenix.

Beckham missed a large chunk of the American season with a knee injury but returned to play in the Galaxy's last two matches.

The midfielder is set to play in a number of friendly games and possibly also Euro qualifiers for England over the next month, but should be fit to play a large part in the November 27 and December 1 matches.
