The exhibition soccer match between Wellington Phoenix and the LA Galaxy featuring star signing David Beckham will be broadcast live by TVNZ.
The December 1 match, at Wellington's Westpac Stadium, will be broadcast on TV One at 7pm and simulcast at tvnz.co.nz.

Needham said the broadcast would be a tremendous boost for football's profile in New Zealand.
"We see this occasion as a very special opportunity for all sports fans to see one of the world's football superstars in action in this country both free-to-air and on-line," he said.
Beckham is expected to take the field at Westpac Stadium in front of a sell-out crowd. More than two thirds of the available tickets have already been sold.
"David Beckham is one of the true stars of modern sport," said TVNZ sport producer Stu Dennison.
"He is a class act, with skills to which other football players can only aspire. Seeing Beckham in action in Wellington will be one of those moments in time you remember forever."
