When Barcelona's magician Lionel Messi isn't breaking records he's breaking limbs - a female fan paying the price at the weekend for the Argentine's wayward shot into the stands.
During the first half of the Sunday afternoon match against Villareal at the Estadio El Madrigal, the diminutive forward blasted a
shot from just outside the box but failed to hit the target.
The left-footed screamer did, however, hit an unfortunate woman in the crowd who grimaced in pain as she clutched at her limp-looking wrist.
A video of the aftermath appears to show the woman on the verge of passing out.
