New Zealand Football boss Andy Martin has been inundated with applicants for the All Whites coaching job, despite the position only being formally advertised today.
The review into the failed World Cup campaign has been completed, but not made public.
Martin says it now means they can press on withfinding the long-term replacement for Ricki Herbert.
He says he's had about 50 applicants up until now, and needs to look at the make up of the management structure.
"The key decision is how we put the team together. In an ideal world we're looking at a coach that's fulltime, that can deliver on the high stakes.
"If that proves to be difficult or we're not able to do that, then we have to look at how we blend the team together.''
Neil Emblen is the interim coach for the upcoming match against South Africa, but Andy Martin says the full time job will be filled by the time the All Whites next play, which will be after the World Cup.
