Real Madrid overcame Sergio Ramos' early sending off and Cristiano Ronaldo's absence to seal its spot in the Champions League last 16 with a 4-1 hammering of Galatasaray.
Ramos had the hosts in trouble after just 26 minutes after sending Umut Bulut to the ground.
Despite the setback Madrid rallied, with Gareth Bale scoring with an exquisite free kick from 30 meters in the 37th minute.
Bulut equalized right away but the Turkish club wilted in the second half as Alvaro Arbeloa, Angel Di Maria, and Isco all scored to complete an emphatic win at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Madrid has 13 points and will finish top of Group B. Galatasaray has four points and must beat Juventus in the last round of games to advance.
Alvaro Negredo and Edin Dzeko scored in the final 12 minutes to earn Manchester City a 4-2 victory over Viktoria Plzen, keeping alive the English team's slim hopes of finishing top of Group D.
City, fielding a depleted team having already qualified, was twice pegged back by the plucky Czech champions but substitute Negredo tapped home in the 78th minute and Dzeko's header made sure of victory in the 89th.
The result kept City three points behind Bayern Munich ahead of their meeting in Germany in two weeks.
Sergio Aguero's 33rd-minute penalty had earlier been cancelled out by Tomas Horava in the 43rd before Samir Nasri's 65th-minute volley regained the lead for City, only for Stanislav Tecl to level soon after.
