Soccer: Late goal saves Rangers

GLASGOW - A last-gasp goal by substitute Hamed Namouchi earned Rangers a 1-1 draw at struggling Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League on Saturday.

The point took Rangers back to the top of the table on goal difference from Celtic, who are at home to Livingston on Sunday. The big Glasgow rivals are both on 50 points.

David McCracken put Dundee United ahead in the 11th minute but Namouchi salvaged a point from a corner in the dying seconds.

Dundee United, who started the day in bottom place, moved up two places to 10th to be replaced by city rivals Dundee who lost 3-1 at Dunfermline Athletic.
