Tickets for the All Whites' intercontinental playoff to reach the World Cup finals go on public sale tomorrow morning, following an overwhelming response to the pre-sale campaign.
Over 23,000 tickets have already been sold for the Wellington leg of the home and away play-off, and now fewer than 5,000 ticketsremain available for the fixture in November.
"The appetite from the fans already for this game has been incredible," said New Zealand Football Interim Chief Executive Mark Aspden.
"To be in this position before public sale even starts is a testament to the level of support for the All Whites."
"Four years ago the fans were fantastic in creating an atmosphere, and they've once again shown how much they're behind the All Whites."
In 2009 the All Whites defeated Bahrain on a memorable night in Wellington to send the team to the FIFA World Cup Finals for the first time since 1982. The team returned from South Africa as the only undefeated team at the FIFA 2010 World Cup.
The All Whites will face the team placed fourth in the CONCACAF qualification group. Honduras currently lies in fourth place with each team still to play four games.
