Cristiano Ronaldo hit out at Real Madrid fans for whistling him after his stunning hat-trick against city rivals Atletico put them on the verge of another Champions League final.
The Portuguese is a hero to the majority of Real supporters, but a section of the Bernabeu crowd continue to whistlewhenever he touches the ball in certain matches.
And, quite understandably, Ronaldo is getting a little fed up of the negative reaction.
He told MEGA after Tuesday night's win: 'I repeat once, I just want you not to whistle me. I'll try to give the best as always.'
Ronaldo certainly did that against Atletico in the first leg of their semi-final, opening the scoring with a close-range header after 10 minutes.
He slammed home Real's second goal with 17 minutes remaining and then added a third late on to continue Real's dominance over their neighbours in Europe's premier club competition.
They won both the 2014 and 2016 Champions League finals against Atletico, and eliminated them at the quarter-final stage during the 2014-15 campaign.
And, as they take a 3-0 lead to the Vicente Calderon next Wednesday, Real are odds-on favourites to make the June 3 final at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
