Barcelona star Lionel Messi headbutted Roma defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa in a pre-season friendly.
He was lucky not to be sent off as the pair tangled in the first half and you can see Messi clearly throw his head in Yanga-Mbiwa's face before grabbing the French defender's throat.
Both players wereseparated and booked as Barcelona were leading 1-0 at the time of the incident and moments later, Messi doubled their lead in the Joan Gamper Trophy at the Nou Camp.
Barcelona went on to win the match 3-0 but the game will be remembered for Messi's petulant retaliation.
