Manchester City bosses are considering offering free tattoo removal laser surgery to supporters with the club logo inked on their body.
The Mirror.co.uk reports the club is planning on abandoning their current crest after supporters revealed a strong desire to see the circular design of the club's first two badgesresurrected.
The change could see supporters with tattoos of the club's current logo feeling disheartened but The Sun reports club chiefs have discussed the possibility of offering free ink removal to help their fans.
Manchester City made the decision to revert to their old-shaped crest last month, after the majority of their supporters demanded the change, with the club agreeing to move forward with a complete redesign.
The club's first logo, adopted in the 1930s, was modelled on the official crest of the city of Manchester, with a sailing ship depicting trade links and three stripes representing three local rivers.
The design was changed in 1972, with the three stripes being replaced by the red rose of Lancashire.
Supporters are reportedly divided on whether the new design should be a throwback to one of the earlier crests or whether there should be a total rebrand.
