All Whites coach Anthony Hudson will soon announce his squad for the OFC Nations Cup in Papua New Guinea in late May and early June. Who will be on the plane? Jason Pine updates the All Whites Power Rankings (previous position in brackets).

1. (1) Winston Reid (West Ham United, England)
His uncontested place at the top of the list only confirms how much he'll be missed at the OFC Nations Cup.

2. (2) Chris Wood (Leeds United, England)
Almost certain to wear the armband in PNG and a physical presence which will be vital against the Pacific Island sides.

3. (4) Themi Tzimopoulos (PAS Giannina, Greece)
A rusted-on starter for his Greek club side and a key member of Hudson's defence with Reid and probably Tommy Smith absent.

4. (3) Ryan Thomas (PEC Zwolle, Netherlands)
His participation at the Nations Cup remains in doubt after knee surgery. If he makes it, his creativity and skill will give the All Whites a huge boost.

5. (5) Kosta Barbarouses (Melbourne Victory, Australia)
His pace and trickery will be absolutely crucial in PNG. One of the best attackers in the A-League.

6. (6) Glen Moss (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
Will be between the sticks for all the big games ahead. The number one #1.

7. (9) Marco Rojas (FC Thun, Switzerland)
Starting to get decent game time in Switzerland. Now would be a great time to deliver on his undoubted promise in a white shirt.

8. (7) Michael McGlinchey (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
The glue in Hudson's midfield. Has always had superb commitment to the New Zealand cause.

9. (8) Andrew Durante (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
Still no firm decision on his involvement in PNG. Would start if he makes himself available.

10. (11) Tom Doyle (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
Has sewn up the left-back spot at club level and should get the chance to do the same for New Zealand.

11. (10) Michael Boxall (SuperSport, South Africa)
Has all the qualities of an international defender, with his versatility an added bonus.

12. (12) Tommy Smith (Ipswich Town, England)
Unlikely to travel to PNG because of other commitments.

13. (13) Ryan De Vries (Auckland City, New Zealand)
Currently involved in the OFC Champions League, giving him a decent look at Pacific Island defenders.

14. (15) Kip Colvey (San Jose Earthquakes, USA)
Able to play either side of the back four and has settled quickly in the MLS.

15. (17) Stefan Marinovic (SpVgg Unterhaching, Germany)
The most likely long-term goalkeeper for the national side.

16. (18) Shane Smeltz (Sydney FC, Australia)
Has played just once under Hudson, but international goal-scoring pedigree should get him on the plane.

17. (16) Louis Fenton (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
Started the last All Whites game at right-back and also more than capable of playing further forward.

18. (19) Deklan Wynne (Whitecaps FC 2, Canada)
Could well share left-back duties with Doyle in the heat of PNG.

19. (21) Clayton Lewis (Auckland City FC, New Zealand)
Played every game for New Zealand last year.

20. (20) Hamish Watson (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
His physical presence could be key against tough opposition defenders.

21. (23) Tamati Williams (RKC Waalwijk, Netherlands)
Has leapt into contention after his move to a Dutch club, where he's starting regularly.

22. (22) Bill Tuiloma (RC Strasbourg, France)
Practically the invisible man at club level, but Hudson will back himself to integrate the talented youngster into his side.

23. (31) James Musa (St Louis FC, USA)
Has picked up a pro contract and may well be among the defenders in PNG.

24. (26) Monty Patterson (Ipswich Town, England)
Hudson is a fan of the feisty striker who has just returned from a long-term injury.

25. (28) Te Atawhai Hudson-Wihongi (Auckland City FC, New Zealand)
The classy defensive midfielder is pushing hard for selection after a strong season for Auckland City. Debuted against Oman in November.

26. (24) Tyler Boyd (Vitoria SC, Portugal)
Certainly in the mix, but his inclusion may depend on whether bigger front-men are required.

27. (14) Jeremy Brockie (SuperSport, South Africa)
Scoring far more regularly than any other New Zealand striker, but drops down amid reports he won't be selected for PNG.

28. (NEW ENTRY) Luke Adams (South Melbourne FC, Australia)
Rumours have surfaced the former NZ under-20 captain is in contention with Smith unlikely to travel.

29. (25) Sam Brotherton (Wisconsin University, USA)
30. (27) Max Crocombe (Southport FC, England)
31. (29) James McGarry (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
32. (33) Nikko Boxall (VPS, Finland)
33. (NEW ENTRY) Benjamin Van Den Broek (Telstar, Netherlands)
34. (NEW ENTRY) Matt Ridenton (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
34. (32) Logan Rogerson (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
35. (35) Chris James (FC Haka Valkeakoski, Finland)
36. (37) Dan Keat (Göteborgs Atlet- och Idrottssällskap, Sweden)
37. (38) Kayne Vincent (Perlis FA, Malaysia)
38. (36) Cameron Howieson (St. Mirren, Scotland)
39. (39) Jake Gleeson (Portland Timbers, USA)
40. (30) Rory Fallon (Bristol Rovers, England)
