Soccer: NZ teen off to Blackburn

All Whites soccer captain Ryan Nelsen could soon have Team Wellington teenager Daniel Keat for company at Blackburn Rovers.

The 17-year-old midfielder has travelled to Lancashire for a week-long trial at the Premier League club where Nelsen has established himself as one of the finds of the English season.

Blackburn will offer the English-born Hutt International Boys' School sports captain a place in their renowned youth academy if he impresses in training and two trial matches.
