Soccer: Smith not a sure starter

New Zealand soccer defender Tommy Smith is in doubt for the All Whites' home internationals this month.

Smith, who played in all three of New Zealand's matches at the World Cup in South Africa in June, has a back injury and a decision on whether he will return to New Zealand for the matches - against Honduras in Auckland on October 9 and Paraguay in Wellington three days later - will be made after Ipswich Town's English Championship match against Leeds United on Sunday.
