The All Whites have completed an impressive two-game tour of the USA, competing well against the highly-ranked Mexico and the USA.

Who pressed their claims for spots in the squad to play World Cup qualifiers in the coming months? Jason Pine updates the All Whites Power Rankings (previous position in brackets).

1. (1) Winston Reid (West Ham Utd FC, England)
His impact on this team is indescribable. New Zealand looked a far, far better team with their skipper and best player present.

2. (2) Chris Wood (Leeds Utd, England)
Led the line superbly against Mexico and USA. Tireless running and physical presence in attack is matched by his unquestionable desire to represent his country.

3. (7) Michael McGlinchey (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
The first name coach Anthony Hudson writes down in his starting midfield. Played every minute against Mexico and USA and has played in all of New Zealand's last 16 internationals, starting 15 of them.

4. (4) Stefan Marinovic (SpVgg Unterhaching, Germany)
Was partly at fault for USA's goal, but made up for it with some superb saves. Undisputed number one goalkeeper at present.

5. (5) Kosta Barbarouses (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
His class was obvious on this tour, including a lovely cameo against USA. Many feel he's about to light up the A-League with Wellington Phoenix.

6. (9) Marco Rojas (Melbourne Victory FC, Australia)
A return to Australasia clearly agrees with the "Kiwi Messi". Sublime against Mexico and looks set to recapture the form which saw him win the Johnny Warren medal three years ago.

7. (3) Ryan Thomas (PEC Zwolle, Netherlands)
Injury ruled him out of this tour, but his undoubted quality ensures he'll start when fit.

8. (12) Michael Boxall (SuperSport Utd, South Africa)
The only defender to play every minute of the American tour. Ability to play right-back and long throw are bonuses.

9. (8) Bill Tuiloma (RC Strasbourg Alsace, France)
Missed this tour through injury but seems best suited in the current ranks to fill the defensive midfield role.

10. (NEW ENTRY) Andrew Durante (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
Out of the international wilderness and into a starting spot against USA. Brings vital experience and composure.

11. (25) Deklan Wynne (Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Canada)
Marked his return with a solid game at left-back against Mexico, including a sublime cross for Rojas's goal.

12. (16) Clayton Lewis (Auckland City FC, New Zealand)
Started both games against Mexico and USA and seems to grow with every outing in the white shirt. May not start when others return but will always be in the mix.

13. (14) Monty Patterson (Ipswich Town FC, England)
His first international goal capped an energetic display against USA. Has quickly established himself in the All Whites squad.

14. (6) Themi Tzimopoulos (PAS Giannina FC, Greece)
In a battle with Reid, Boxall and Durante for a central defensive role, but is in every squad Hudson picks and never lets the side down.

15. (NEW ENTRY) Liam Graham (Chesterfield FC, England)
Solid on his debut tour and provides Storm Roux with genuine competition at right-back.

16. (11) Kip Colvey (San Jose Earthquakes FC, USA)
Shaded by Wynne on this American tour but not much between them for the starting left-back spot.

17. (19) Henry Cameron (Blackpool FC, England)
Great to see him back in the All Whites mix. Energetic and pacy.

18. (36) Jake Gleeson (Portland Timbers FC, USA)
Injury stymied his chance on this latest tour, but starting for his MLS side and a close challenger to Marinovic.

19. (10) Storm Roux (Central Coast Mariners, Australia)
Fully recovered from injury now and will push hard for the starting right-back spot.

20. (20) Shane Smeltz (Kedah FA, Malaysia)
His days of starting in the white shirt may be over but a very handy player to have coming off the bench when goals are needed.

21. (27) Matthew Ridenton (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
Versatility helps his cause. Needs to push his claims with regular Phoenix game time this A-League season.

22. (18) Sam Brotherton (Wisconsin University, USA)
Very much a back-up central defender, but playing at a good level.

23. (15) Glen Moss (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
His omission from the latest squad was reportedly due to lack of game-time. The start of the A-League season will fix that and allow him to press his claims.

24. (22) Louis Fenton (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
Still seems to be confusion over what his best position is which may count against him.

25. (29) Moses Dyer (Eastern Suburbs AFC, New Zealand)
Continues to feature under Hudson despite mixed reviews.

26. (24) Te Atawhai Wihongi (Auckland City FC, New Zealand)
The only outfield squad member not to feature against Mexico or USA. Needs a big Stirling Sports Premiership season for Auckland City.

27. (17) Rory Fallon (Truro City FC, England)
Not needed on the field now but still a huge presence off it. Maybe suited to some sort of assistant coaching / mentoring role.

28. (21) Tom Doyle (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
Injury came at the wrong time with Wynne and Colvey now ahead of him in the left-back pecking order.

29. (33) Tamati Williams (RKC Waalwijk, Netherlands)
In the goalkeeping mix, but most observers don't have him in our top three custodians.

30. (26) Logan Rogerson (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
A long awaited A-League debut will boost his confidence. Time is on his side.

31. (13) Luke Adams (Eastern Suburbs AFC, New Zealand)
32. (37) Alex Rufer (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
33. (28) Jeremy Brockie (SuperSport Utd, South Africa)
34. (35) Tyler Boyd (Vitoria SC, Portugal)
35. (31) Hamish Watson (Wellington Phoenix, New Zealand)
36. (34) James Musa (St Louis FC, USA)
37. (23) Max Crocombe (Carlisle United, England)
38. (30) Luka Prelevic (Pascoe Vale SC, Australia)
