Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent's long-running feud has gone to a new level

Floyd Mayweather has taken a vicious beating over the last few days and it all leads back to his sense of fashion.

The boxing superstar left fans in stitches when he showed up to Gervonta Davis' last fight rocking what looked like horse riding boots.

But now his longtime feud with hip-hop mogul Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson has taken a nasty turn after the rapper savaged Mayweather in a serious of social media posts.

The sheer brutality of Jackson's post stem from Mayweather continuing to buy from fashion brand Gucci despite recent backlash over a blackface sweater.

Outrage towards the brand began when a balaclava knit appeared online with fans remarking it resembled blackface.

Shortly after the brand pulled the item from stock, but many decided they had gone too far and decided to boycott the label.

Jackson was well and truly in the camp of turning his back on the brand and even opted to burn the pieces he owns.

Despite controversy embroiling the brand, Mayweather wasn't fazed and continued to spend his money within their stores.

"My thing is this, I support everybody I like. My thing is this, I like to live life and do what I like to do," Mayweather said to TMZ.

"I'm not no follower, I do what the f*** I want to do. I'm going to wear what the f*** I want. I'm about to go into Gucci."

That's when Jackson decided to pour further fuel onto their long-running feud with several posts aimed directly at the former boxing champ.

The scathing posts haven't yet attracted a response from Mayweather as of yet, but if their past is anything to go by this won't be the end of it.

Both men traded vicious barbs in the middle of 2018 when their feud seemed to reach its peak, but this could see it taken to new heights.

Jackson, along with fellow rapper T.I. and movie director Spike Lee have been just several celebrities calling for a Gucci ban.

But Floyd isn't buying into the controversy and isn't at all phased how he may be perceived by continuing to shop with the label.

"I'm not a follower," Floyd added

"You know when everybody else they say, 'Everybody gonna boycott?' I say guess what, this boy gonna get on a yacht and live life.

"We all know racism still exists but that's not gonna stop my drive."
