Last year, Winston Reid's header for the All Whites against Slovakia at the 2010 football World Cup in South Africa won the award, edging the Silver Ferns' double overtime Commonwealth Games victory over Australia and Nathan Fein's last minute try to win the Four Nations for the Kiwis.
