The All Blacks begin their World Cup campaign on September 21 against Argentina in London.
Auckland Rugby commercial manager Ross Halpin said public tickets for Saturday's game in Auckland went on sale on June 8, and were all immediately sold.
"With only one North Island test match this year, there has been significant demand for tickets for the Bledisloe Cup," he said.
"Those missing out were advised to register for notification of any additional tickets following handbacks by NZ Rugby and hospitality providers.
"A number of tickets have subsequently been released to this waitlist. We do not anticipate any further tickets will be released to the public."
A MetService meteorologist said although a front was approaching New Zealand, and was likely to hit over the weekend, at this stage it was hard to say whether it would rain during the game.
"It looks like there's a chance of rain, but Saturday's still a way away.
"There's a low pressure system coming from the Tasman which is looking like it will cross over the country this weekend," he said.
"It will produce rain in Auckland during the weekend but it's hard to say exactly when."
There was also a chance of wind from the southwest or south, and at this stage, temperatures could remain cool.
Tickets on Ticketmaster ranged between $40 and $120, according to their website.
TAB is currently paying $1.22 for an All Blacks win and $4 for the Wallabies.
