England international Owen Farrell has put forward an early bid for the most embarrassing rugby moment of 2016.
On as a second-half sub in Saracens' European Champions Cup clash with Toulouse in France, Farrell found himself on the end of a pass from club and international team-mate Mako Vunipolaand steamed his way over the try line.
But somehow, Farrell managed to drop the ball in the dead ball area, despite no Toulouse defenders being in sight.
Saracens did end up winning 28-17, but the scoreline could have been far more comprehensive.
