New Zealand's Shaye Boddington and Anna Thomas scored a convincing win in the girls' synchronised diving competition at the Australian diving championships in Adelaide yesterday.
The juniors won the 14-18 year-old 3m event by more than 34 points from the Victorian combination of Caitlin Carey and Olena Fedorova, scoring 292.41 points.
Natasha Vruink of Wellington and Auckland's Kaitlyn White were fourth with 254.07.
Auckland diver Tony Donaldson qualified for his second event at the world junior championships in Germany in August, placing third with a 367.08 score in the boys' 14 to 15-year-old 1m springboard behind world junior trampolining champion Matthew Mitcham of Queensland and South Australian Scott Robertson.
Katy McMillan of Auckland was third in the girls' 16 to 18-year-old platform with a tally of 324.15.
