From a national anthem shocker to an off-target All White, Daily Shorts takes a look at the light hearted side of sport.
Advance Australia blah
During the Rugby Championship match between hosts Argentina and the Wallabies on Sunday, the Argentinian anthem singer Marcelo Zelada performed a brilliantly horrific rendition of 'Advance Australia Fair' before kick off.
It's so bad and the words so bundled that the Aussies are seen laughing.
The Wallabies matched the performance by falling to the Pumas for the first time since 1997.
Off the mark
All Whites striker Chris Wood is making an impact despite not getting on the field for Leicester.
Old school baseball
The US Library Of Congress unearthed this gem last week - footage of the 1924 World Series between the Washington Senators and the New York Giants. Complete with dramatic piano chords and cardboard commentary.
Hard man award
When Sam Burgess broke his cheekbone in the opening hit-up of the grand final last night, it wasn't long before John Sattler's name was mentioned.
Sattler played on in the 1970 final after having his jaw shattered in a sickening blow from Manly's John Bucknall.
Funnily enough he gave a first account of the incident in the Daily Telegraph yesterday - including the great line "Never show those opposition pr**ks you are hurt".
