NFL star Ray Rice was let go by the Baltimore Ravens football team this week and suspended indefinitely by America's most popular sports league after a video was released showing the running back striking his then-fiancee in February.
But that hasn't stopped some Ravens fans from sticking up for 'theirguy'.
In this incredible video from Fox Sports, a reporter chases down fans wearing Rice's jersey, which the club has allowed them to trade in for any other player, and asks them why.
Responses vary from, 'Everyone deserves a second chance', to 'If a women hits a man, she deserves to be hit back'. Crazy stuff.
Tom Cleverley's Twitter Q&A session went as well as one would have hoped...
Tom Cleverely endured a season of seemingly non-stop abuse last term, as he, alongside David Moyes, bore the brunt of Manchester United supporters frustrations as they rapidly fell from grace after Sir Alex Ferguson's departure.
Cleverely left to join Aston Villa on a season-long loan for the remainder of the season last week, but those critics are not going away anytime soon.
The midfielder took part in a Twitter Q&A session today, and, just like recent entries by fellow players Jesus Navas, Gareth Barry and Darron Gibson, the session certainly did not go to plan.
