Kiwi triathlete Josh Harris runs alongside Tour de France cyclists brandishing only a cap, sneakers, a pair of bright pink underwear, and 'NZL' painted in white across his back.
New Zealand cyclist George Bennett isn't the only Kiwi turning heads at this year's edition of the Tour de France.
Triathlete Josh Harris made a notable television appearance during Stage 13 overnight (NZT) when he ran alongside competitors dressed in only a pair of fluorescent pink underwear, a cap and
sneakers with the letters 'NZL' painted in white across his back.
"I had a wee dash around," Harris told Stuff.co.nz.
"I'm based in Spain for the next three months and it's always been a dream to go see the Tour, so I thought I'd go along.
"One of my sponsors is a swimwear company, so I thought I'd don some speedos. They're part of my training kit, but the bright pink ones go best on TV," Harris told Stuff.co.nz.
