Cycling: Dean wins stage with team

Julian Dean has become just the second Kiwi to win a stage in the Tour de France.

Dean's Garmin-Cervelo team has pipped Team Sky, BMC Racing and Team Leopard-Trek by four seconds in the team time trial in the west of France

Norwegian Thor Hushovd has pulled on the Tour leader's yellow jersey after his Garmin-Cervelo team won the stage.

Hushovd says he's proud to be at the Tour de France as the world champion and to now pull on yellow is an incredible feeling.

Team mate Julian Dean says it takes a lot of hard work to perform in the team time trial.

Dean says every in the team, both riders and management, are overjoyed by the result.

Julian Dean's teammate Thor Hushovd is the new Tour leader.

The Norwegian is atop the general classification with David Millar, with Australian Cadel Evans third, just a second back.
