Twose gives selectors a reminder

Roger Twose is back. Not wanted on recent New Zealand cricket expeditions, Twose played a huge role as New Zealand A beat Pakistan A by 51 runs in the first of their one-day clashes at Blake Park yesterday. After rescuing a sorry New Zealand batting effort with a match-high 57, captain Twose had to work his bowlers as the visitors took control and threatened an easy victory. At 123 for four, needing just 68 runs to head New Zealand's 190 -- and with overs aplenty to spare -- Pakistan were in control. Again Twose it was to the rescue, with a reflex catch off Akhtar Sarfraz -- who had made 57 well-struck runs -- low down to his left.
