New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum has won the toss and decided to bat in the World Cup match against Bangladesh in Hamilton.
New Zealand have made theirfirst change for the tournament with Mitchell McClenaghan coming in for Adam Milne. Milne suffered bruising to the a/c joint of his shoulder against Afghanistan, meaning he is rested.
New Zealand are unbeaten in five matches. They will top the pool regardless of today's result. The hosts have not played Bangladesh at the venue in an ODI but won their sole Twenty20 against them by 10 wickets in 2010.
Bangladesh are resting captain Mashrafe Mortaza. Shakib Al Hasan has taken on the duties.
Yesterday speculation swirled that a sore throat or calf injury might rule Mortaza out.
Another theory suggested he wouldn't be risked after a slow over rate in the 15-run win against England. Mashrafe pleaded guilty and was fined 40 percent of his match fee.
They want to guarantee his presence for their quarter-final.
Arafat Sunny is also out with Taijul Islam and Nasir Hossain coming in.
A win today would see Bangladesh advance to at least third in the pool.
