Following New Zealand's thrilling win over Australia last night the unbeaten Black Caps are now favourites to win the Cricket World Cup. But there is still a very long way to go.
So what's next and who are New Zealand likely to face in the quarterfinals and semifinals?
- New Zealand currently sit top of pool A. If they top Pool A they will then face the fourth placed team in pool B in the quarterfinal - which will be either West Indies, Pakistan, Ireland or Zimbabwe.
- The semifinal format means the top teams in each pool, if they win their quarter-finals, will face the second ranked team from the opposite pool. With South Africa now in line to finish second in pool B - that means the top team in pool A should face them in the semifinals.
- New Zealand's best hope of avoiding South Africa in the semi-final is India beating the West Indies in Perth on Friday.
