West Indies coach Ottis Gibson is optimistic spinners Shane Shillingford and Marlon Samuels will be cleared to bowl in the test series against New Zealand.
The pair were reported for having suspect bowling actions during the test series in India last month.
They have been in Perth being independently tested,and Gibson is expecting a good outcome.
"The initial feedback from the people doing the testing was positive," he said yesterday.
"The ICC set these rules or guidelines ... and the guys fully adhered to everything they were asked to do and delivered exactly as they were required to do."
The assessors' report will be sent to the West Indies management in 14 days, "so we are hoping we'll get a positive result and the guys can put the episode behind them and start to focus much more on cricket".
Shillingford, 30, and Samuels, 32, were unlikely to be fazed by the experience, Gibson added.
"It's tough for them but I think they coped with it quite well, and will definitely come into the reckoning for this test."
Gibson indicated that senior seamer Tino Best, whose figures of 49 wickets from 22 tests are modest, would lead the West Indies bowling attack with one of the two new-ball bowlers from the low-key warmup game in Lincoln, left armer Sheldon Cottrell or Shannon Gabriel.
