Cricket: Warne checking shoulder

Cricketer Shane Warne will return to Australia from England this month to have his bowling shoulder checked by his surgeon, but he is not scheduled to undergo surgery.

Test cricket's leading wicket-taker will arrive in Melbourne to meet surgeon Greg Hoy, but Warne's representative stressed it was just a precautionary step and he did not require surgery before next summer's Ashes series against England.
