Ross Taylor 8/10
Fought hard for 56 in second dig, terrific slip catching and captain fantastic on the final day. Kept composure under pressure during the final partnership and did the right thing to get Warner off strike which led to the final wicket.
Kane Williamson 5/10
Got two starts, didn't go on. No doubt he'll get plenty more chances in his career to perform against Australia.
Dean Brownlie 7/10
Looked good again with first innings top score, hampered by injury in second innings. Might want to work on playing the short ball over the coming weeks.
Reece Young 4/10
Out of his depth with bat, days are numbered at test level.
Tim Southee 6/10
Bowled well in tandem with Bracewell in the final session and a key part of a bowling attack that set up the win. However another silly innings with the bat could have cost the Black Caps after throwing his wicket away when runs were at a premium.
Doug Bracewell 9.5/10
9 wickets in what should have been a man of match effort. Was also economical and kept pressure on throughout. Hard to fault as he turned the match on his head but second innings effort with bat was poor when runs were valuable.
Trent Boult 7/10
Four wickets and handy runs with the bat. A find.
Chris Martin 7.5/10
Led the attack superbly again. Gets better with age. Needs to look at Nathan Lyon for better contributions with the bat - however probably too late in his career to consider the all-rounder tag.
