Cricket: Watling set to take gloves

There will be two changes to the Black Caps XI for the one-off test against Zimbabwe, starting in Napier tomorrow.

Commentator Bryan Waddle says the test team seems clear-cut.

He expects Daniel Vettori and BJ Watling will come into the side from the team that beat Australia in Hobart early last month.

Vettori's batting position was in question when Otago all-rounder Sam Wells came into the team but coach John Wright is comfortable he can bat in the top six.

Waddle says the Black Caps have also placed more of an emphasis on Watling's game over Kruger van Wyk at training.
