New Zealand captain Dan Vettori has replaced teammate Kyle Mills as the world's leading ODI bowler.
Left arm spinner Vettori, who held top spot last March, regained the No1 place with his performances during the 2-1 series win over Pakistan in Abu Dhabi this month, in which he took five
for 113 off 30 overs.
Mills drops to No5, while fellow new ball bowler Shane Bond slips from No5 to No7.
Bangladesh allrounder Shakib Al Hasan is second behind Vettori with Zimbabwe spinner Ray Price up to third, and Sri Lankan fast-medium bowler Nuwan Kulasekara fourth.
Indian captain MS Dhoni continues to lead the ODI batting list, from Australian Mike Hussey and South African skipper Graeme Smith.
The only New Zealander in the top 20 is wicketkeeper Brendon McCullum, who sits at No14.
Jacob Oram is ranked fifth among ODI allrounders, and Vettori ninth, in a list headed by Shakib, with Australian Shane Watson second and Yuvraj Singh of India third.
Meanwhile, Pakistan will be led by classy batsman Mohammad Yousuf on their three-test visit to New Zealand this month.
In-and-out skipper Younis Khan withdrew this week, citing lack of support from the team during their ODI series loss to New Zealand this month.
Yousuf has captained Pakistan in three previous tests, all as a stand-in for former batting hero Inzamam-ul-Haq. Yousuf will be Pakistan's fourth captain this year, after Younis, Shoaib Malik and Twenty20 skipper Shahid Afridi, and will have talented wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal as his deputy.
The first test starts in Dunedin on November 24.
