Cricket: Tuffey in ND squad

Black Caps paceman Daryl Tuffeylooks set to return to first-class cricket after being included in the Northern Districts squad for their opening State Championship match next week.

Tuffey was included in the 13-man team named by coach Bruce Blair yesterday for the four-day match against Auckland starting in Hamilton on Monday.

Tuffey injured his right knee on the Black Caps tour of England earlier this year and has been restricted to warm-up games at the New Zealand Cricket Academy in Lincoln.
