ADELAIDE - New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori won the toss and chose to bat first in the second and final cricket test against Australia at the Adelaide Oval here today.
New Zealand made one change from their 149-run defeat in the first test in Brisbane, recalling batsman Peter
Fulton for his eighth test in place of allrounder Grant Elliott.
Spinner Jeetan Patel was named 12th man.
Australia also made one change, with New South Wales offspinner Nathan Hauritz recalled for his second test - four years after his debut - in place of allrounder Shane Watson.
Hauritz got the nod after first-choice spinner Jason Krejza sprained his ankle at fielding practice on Tuesday.
The weather had cleared after morning showers and the match was due to start on time at 10.30am (1pm NZT).
