Cricket: DRS creator defends Lyon call

The creator of the technology behind cricket's decision review system has leapt to its defence.

It's been criticised in the wake of second test between the Black Caps and Australia in Hobart.

Australian tail-ender Nathan Lyon survived an lbw shout thanks to the DRS, even though one camera appeared to show the ball pitching in line with the stumps.

Virtual Eye founder Ian Taylor says the different pictures came from different angles.

He says he's received an email from the umpires boss at the ICC who's praised them for their efforts.

Taylor says there's no chance any of the shots were tampered with.
