Cricket: Brownlie out with finger injury

Black Caps batsman Dean Brownlie is set to miss the remainder of the Zimbabwe series after confirmation he has broken a finger on his left hand.

Physio Paul Close says there's some added damage with Brownlie suffering a cut around the break.

He will miss at least the Twenty20s of the South African series and likely some of the ODIs.

Brownlie won't need surgery however and no replacement has been called into the squad.
