The Black Caps will have a fully fit Scott Styris for this month's ICC Champions Trophy in India after battling a back injury since returning early from a stint in English county cricket.
He is currently in camp preparing with the team in Christchurch and coach John Bracewell says Styris
should be fine to take a full part at the tournament, including bowling.
He says they have eased Styris into things and he is slowly building up strength and will travel with the team.
John Bracewell says they have gradually increased the work load on Scott Styris' back over the past several days, with no repercussions.
Bracewell says Styris will be available to play in the team's opening game on October 16th.
