Cricket: Sri Lanka thump India

Sri Lanka's thumped India by eight wickets to progress to the tri series final in Dambulla.

India was rolled for just 103 with seamer Thisara Perera taking 5-28 for the home side in his first outing of the tournament.

Sri Lanka chased the target down in the 16th over to secure a place in the final.

The result means New Zealand's match against India on Wednesday is effectively a knockout match with the winner advancing to the final.
