Alastair Cook has been dumped as England's one-day international captain, according to British media.
The BBC reported this morning that Cook has been replaced as captain of the side by batsman Eoin Morgan.
The move comes less than two months out from the start of the ICC Cricket World Cup,
which is being co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia.
Cook took over the captaincy of England's ODI team from Andrew Strauss in 2011.
The 29-year-old has endured a form slump of late, averaging only 27.52 from his last 20 matches.
